Wonder-Girl Wednesdays: Schizo

There are few women who can keep up with a band as hardcore as Schizo. But Yi Hye-Rim does more than that, she rocks out just as hard as the boys.

Born on May 1, 1972 Yi Hye-Rim, she debuted with Schizo back in 2002. She is also interested in photography and abstract painting.

Schizo, a metalcore, alternative, electro/metal, formed back in 2002 and released a demo album that same year. Their first full album Dumbo Shit came out in 2003. It's a fun blend of hard core rock and great vocals, which Hye-Rim provides back-up on occasion. Their follow-up album, Fight Against The World came out in 2006. Since then, they've been putting out a few songs here and there on soundtracks and compilations.  They're still together, which I'm happy about, and I know they rock a few shows here and there around Hongdae in Seoul.
