SXSW Day 1 - K-Pop Night Out

What do I say about SXSW? (Or Southby, as veteran attendees call it.) It was exciting, overwhelming, terrifying, and simply amazing. The entire week was filled with spectacular performances (and, even some horrible ones.) It was a time to revel in music, and all that it encompasses. And it did not disappoint.

Hi all! The official Showcase dates and times are up for this year's South By Southwest Music Festival, and I have the line-ups for all the Korean acts coming this year.

SXSeoulWest - Music Time!

Hey there everybody! I'm steadfastly getting my preparations for the trip to Austin ready. I've been getting ideas and running with my head spinning for the last couple of weeks. I have officially gotten accomodations for my trip. And kind of an unorthodox way of traveling too - it's through an online BnB service. So I'm staying with a (hopefully!) nice older couple while I'm there. This adventure is turning into one big epic adventure as every day passes by!

SXSW 2014 OR BUST

Hi there! Long time no see!

Life has gotten away with me for awhile, and I've been neglecting my poor blog. But I have BIG NEWS. This girl, right here? She has officially been approved for press credentials for SXSW 2014~! And why-oh-why did I apply? BECAUSE YB IS COMING. I flipped a few lids over that news when they announced it. Since then I've been budgeting, plotting and prepping and I'm still working out details, but I'm gonna make it to see them no matter what!

3 Artists One Song Release : #PeepShow

The 3 Artists One Song track has been released, and it's glorious. I couldn't have asked for a better song. I got goosebumps listening to the track. Yuna and Idiotape composed a wonderfully unique song, combined with her voice and Flow's lyrics the track was exceptionally exciting. But don't let me just blabber on, have a listen for yourselves.




It would be amazing if they put something out together again, but I'm afraid that this is a once in a lifetime song, so I'm just going to take it, and enjoy it.

I love Idiotape. And I was excited to see they had a new video out last night!




It's doubles as a promotional video for Fred Perry Korea, which you can see in his shoes, lol. But I notice shoes ANYWAY so I didn't feel like I was just watching a creative commercial.

The director of the video is Jo Beom-Jin, and stars Kang Tae-Won.

3 Artists (I LOVE) One Song Campaign: Korea

Let's try this again. (Since blogger ate this article last time) It's time to start writing here again, and what better way to start off than with exciting news?! Three great artists are coming together on one song. Idiotape, Aziatix and Jaurim are set to collaborate on a project for Converse's “Three Artists. One Song.” campaign.
